Ron, a native Texan, was born and raised in the Fort Worth area. After a long, successful career in Information Technology, he retired from IT in 2014 to pursue his decades long passion for investing and financial planning. Ron began his advisory career in Austin prior to joining OverRidge Wealth Advisors in 2017. Ron is passionate about serving his clients and desires to develop deep, personal relationships with them and their families. He is a member of the OverRidge investment committee, which performs ongoing due diligence in terms of investment selection and portfolio construction.

Ron graduated from Baylor University in Waco with a BBA in Computer Information Systems and was awarded an MBA with an emphasis on Personal Financial Planning from The Graduate School of Management, University of Dallas in 1994. In addition to being an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), he also holds a general lines license with the Texas Department of Insurance. Ron and Kim have been married for 40+ years and currently reside in the Cultural District of Fort Worth. They have two grown sons, Daniel and Michael, two wonderful daughters-in-law and are blessed with four amazing grandchildren.

Ron is an active member of Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth. Outside of work he enjoys fellowship with family and friends, cycling, weight training, rowing, playing (and watching) golf, reading, dining out and spending time in Wine Country.
