Meet Andy, the driving force behind OverRidge. Andy's journey with the company began over 27 years ago when he stepped into the world of finance as an intern while pursuing his studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. Today, he proudly stands as the owner of the firm, a testament to his dedication and expertise in the field.

Andy's passion for investing ignited at the age of 18, sparked by a small high school graduation gift from his grandparents. Seeking guidance, he connected with investment advisor Lee Johnson in 1995, a pivotal moment that set the course for his remarkable career. Under Lee's mentorship, Andy flourished, and the rest, as they say, is history.

In 1997, Andy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from UTA. As CEO and President of OverRidge, Andy holds a general lines license with the Texas Department of Insurance and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.

Beyond the world of finance, Andy cherishes his roles as a husband and a father. Residing in Mansfield with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons, Hayden and Jacob, he finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Andy's diverse interests range from savoring moments with God, family, and friends to indulging in his love for travel, enjoying Sunday afternoon naps, and following Rangers games on the radio—a tradition reminiscent of his grandmother.

Away from the office, you'll find Andy engaging in early morning workouts, exploring new restaurants, solving Sudoku puzzles, and, of course, relishing the aroma of thick-cut bacon wafting from his smoker.
